Can you go into as much detail as possible about your interactive products?
We offer a wide variety of interactive products that help family entertainment and leisure businesses improve their offering.
Going into more detail on some of these;
Valo Climb (Augmented Climbing Wall)
One of the most popular interactive games we offer is Valo Climb, which was the world?s first interactive game platform for climbing walls. It combines 3D augmented graphics and body tracking technology to create a truly immersive gaming experience. Valo Climb is a gaming platform that allows anyone from experienced climbers to groups of friends, to have fun and engage in physical exercise at the same time.
A new product we have recently started offering is Interactive Bowling. Using unique IR Tracking, mapped sound and projection software; Interactive Bowling helps transform traditional bowling alleys into an explosion of colorful, interactive visual and audio effects.
We also offer a new virtual reality product called SimVision VR. The system is based on playing virtual reality games in a group setting. It features a large selection of games that enable many users to immerse themselves in the world of virtual reality gaming. It is accessible to all ages and abilities with a focus on bringing people together through active, fun competition. Perfect for events, team building activities and parties, with up to 50 users able to partake in a live tournament at one time. Competition leaderboards, external audio, and viewing screens ensure spectators are part of the live action. SimVision VR is equally enjoyable for the single player with over 30 different games to enjoy.
The Interactive Ball Pool is a bespoke solution we recently developed for a soft play centre. The Interactive Ball Pool helps turn outdated ball pool spaces into highly engaging, multi-sensory play environments. They enable children to change lighting and effects through play; delivering a truly interactive experience. The Interactive Ball Pool can be installed in any existing or new space. Elements of the product, such as the lighting effects, colour, and audio effects, can be tailored to create a unique installation for each venue.
How do interactive experiences such as these benefit children?
A lot of the interactive technologies we offer focus on engaging people in a fun activity that results in them being more physically active. Children now often need more stimulating motivators to partake in physical activity and providing something engaging; using interactive technologies certainly helps with this. The buzz word for us at the moment is “Gamification.” This is all about how digital platforms and technologies are using principles used in video games, such as rewards and leaderboards, to get people to engage in activities and exercise. The Augmented Climbing Wall is a perfect example of using gamification to encourage new users to the sport of climbing or motivate people to engage in physical activity.

Do these kinds of games represent the future of children’s entertainment, in your opinion?
Absolutely! I think because there?s so much competition out there now for a child’s attention with smartphones, tablets and games consoles, it?s important children’s entertainment centres offer games and experiences that leave a lasting impression and can’t be replicated with a handheld device.
What kinds of locations, and in what countries, are these products ideal for? Why so?
These products are perfect for any Family Entertainment Centre or Leisure Centre looking to attract new customers and re-engage existing customers, and these products would also work well in Sports Clubs and Venues at fan engagement parks and even in Shopping Centres to help improve their family offer.
What do you have planned for the future? New products, plans, etc…
We’re always looking at future trends and have an in-house team of engineers and developers that are constantly working on new interactive technologies. We’ve recently started working more within the theme park sector around keeping visitors engaged using interactive technologies, so this is an area we want to explore further, as the projects we have worked on so far within that space have been epic!
Is there anything you would like to add that hasn’t been mentioned?
We love a challenge at Fired Up Technologies and enjoy working on bespoke projects, so if any Family Entertainment Centre wants a unique interactive game or experience creating, then get in touch?sales@bwt.mfc.mybluehost.me
