Digital Communications

Using displays to communicate is highly impactive. This could be advertising to potential customers, or maybe updating staff on important information. Menu boards are a great way to engage with customers and inform them of your latest offers. Grabbing someone’s attention, and keeping it, is key to getting your message across.

Video walls

Video walls are very striking and make a real, immediate impact. Great for large rooms as well as advertising spaces, video walls allow for a larger single display aea as well as flexibility to display multiple outputs at once. Make sure you consider how your content will be accessed and where it will be accessed from.

Interactive Display

Interactive touch displays offer a whole new level of functionality. Being able to control content directly on the screen means that training is more engaging and easier to deliver. In a commercial setting, processes are sped up and customers are encouraged to spend more time with you.

Display location

Location is a key consideration when choosing the right display. Things to consider are whether the display will be indoors or outdoors, wall mounted or free standing and static or mobile. You also need to think about the amount of light at the location as well as potential for damage. Don’t forget to consider the load-bearing capabilities of the wall you display will be mounted to.

Indoors

Indoor displays generally don’t have environmental considerations and so the available range is very large. Location, size, functionality, colour, design, LCD or LED, viewing angle etc all play a factor. To achieve your vision it is always a good idea to talk to someone with industry-wide knowledge of display equipment.

Outdoors

Outdoor displays need to be environmentally appropriate. They can be wall mounted or free-standing. As well as the usual considerations of light sources, functionality, size, viewing angles etc, you also need to consider power and network requirements when considering the location of your display. The physical location of an outdoor display is an important factor in choosing the right display for you.

Display size

Available space is, of course, important when deciding on a display size. However, you should also consider the viewing audience. Will they sit or stand and how far away will they be? Large format LCD displays become very expensive after a certain size and so a video wall, LED wall or projector may be more appropriate. You also need to be aware of the maximum load rating of the surface your display will be mounted to and if the display will be moved at any point. Talk to an expert if you would like any advice.
